Fathered two children Charles Dahnmon Jr. and Jeffrey Kent Whitt. Divoriced Judy Oct. 1973.

Dahnmon's hobbies are genealogy, and writing books. Dahnmon worked on many different Sheet Metal Construction Jobs, at many different locations in his 35 years with the Sheet Metal Workers. One to mention was the World Trade Center in New York. Retired Dec. 1st, 2003 at the age of 59. He transfered his church membership on 22 July 2007 to Mead Memorial United Methodist Church, in Russell, Ky. I have a new book out about 19th century Virginia & Kentucky. It is seen through the eyes of Great Grandfather David Crockett Whitt. He was born in Montgomery County VA. and traveled in the arms of his mother on horseback to Tazewell County Virginia. Later he traveled to Greenup County, Kentucky with Jonas his father. Jonas went there to build a grist mill. A few years later Crockett leaves Kentucky with hast. Reasons to be revealed. Next you will travel with Crockett for three years fighting off the Yankee's in the war of Northern Aggression, in the 29th. Virginia Infantry. Crockett then went to a POW Pen at Point Lookout MD., where they just about starved him to death! The name of this 580 page hardback is, "Legacy, The Days of David Crockett Whitt." You can get information on this book at www.JSFbooks.com and click new books, or on the dahnmonwhittfamily.com web site. Working on another book; "The Patriot, Hezekiah Whitt." and "Dahnmon's Little Stories." Two new books coming soon. "Confederate American," & "Haunts and Spirits of the Past." Because I am a Kentucky Colonel. I use Colonel as part of my Pen-name. "Colonel Charles Dahnmon Whitt."
